Pip Travers

Pip started her professional career in teaching and after twenty years she decided she needed a change and follow her passion for wine, or as Pip would say;

“After twenty years teaching 60 children under five anyone would decide to turn to wine!!”

So, after many years of serious palate maintenance, she undertook the wine production course at Kurri TAFE and it was there where she learned so much about the wine and winemaking, as well as the industry itself. When she landed a job in the industry in the cellar door, her passion was running over and her enthusiasm overwhelming! So, nearly 3 years down the track, just about finished her course and what now? Well, the kind souls at Balla offered an opportunity to venture into cellar door sales. When Pip is not at cellar door, she can be found belting out a tune to one of her favourite musicals, possibly from Chess or Wicked! She also can be seen at the local Crowne Plaza golf course evoking strange reactions from the local roo’s.
