Daniel has finally given in to his fetish for Peking Duck and is heading to Shanghai (Paris of the East) to savour its delights, whilst there he will be fulfilling his role as a Wine Judge in the Shanghai International Wine Challenge 2011 and spruking the delights of Ballabourneen Wine to our Shanghai wine partner.Our second shipment of wine will arrive in Shanghai in October and no doubt you will be hearing more about this exciting new venture, stay tuned! While Natalie will accompany Daniel, Matilda will stay home to watch over the cellar door.

Well, it’s been a busy time of year but the time of year where every day is an exciting new challenge! Since the start of 2011 the winery has been abuzz with activity and we have finished all the whites and have a few more reds from neighbouring regions to come in, so the pressure is easing.
